Thanks! I know he doesnt look well...No idea where the chicken came from since the clinic is in town....not sure if it got dumped or ran away like maybe miles....Two concerned citizens even called to let us know it was running around and one receptionist went and caught it...- Steponme

Hmmm a lot of talkin but no crowing yet...it was on quarantine for 2 weeks....maybe hes shy? Im guessing it was picked on alot since its butt had been picked on...or molting I havent got to witness that yet...- Steponme

Any guesses as to what breed this may be? I work at a vets office and well a chicken happened to cross the road!! Craziest thing ever!! My boyfriend thought it mightve been trying to escape its fate as sweet and sour chicken from The Crazy Buffet thats across the street!! haha- Steponme

will eggs get bigger as hens get older?
One of my bantams all of a sudden laid an enormous egg!! They are a lucky set 5 laying hens out of a straight run of 6! They all lay every day so far!!- Steponme
