try adding alittle water to the pellets to soften them up. Your chickens may to small and they may be picking through them to find the smaller pieces. try watchin them to see what size of food they are searchin for, they may also be looking for more of the corn also.
How long does it take to hatch once you see veins pulsing and chick starting to move around? The incubator says 7 or 8 days left but Im just wondering if they will be late or early hatching since they were in the fridge for about 1 to 2 weeks. I candled and I think that they are ALL going to...

I have 16 refrigerated eggs in the bator' and 4 fresh eggs. I candled the eggs 2nite. I saw veining in all the eggs and even some movement in the embryo's! Not sure yet if they all will make it. Ill keep you all posted.
I am currently try to hatch about 16 eggs that were refrigerated for about 1 to 2 weeks. They are all developing as far as I know so Im not sure yet of the hatch rate. Ive read that the hatch rate will suffer, but I dont know for sure! We'll see! Ill keep you updated in a few weeks.

Do you have any windows? Are the nests easy to remove the eggs? Have you planned out how much effort that it takes to fill the feeders every so often?
