    Tigerlilly, try adding alittle water to the pellets to soften them up. Your chickens may to small and they may be picking through them to find the smaller pieces. try watchin them to see what size of food they are searchin for, they may also be looking for more of the corn also.

    Have you tried to find a good neighbor to leave them with? Like babysitting only for chicks, chicksitting! HA! HA!

    Will eggs hatch after being in the fridge?

    Update: 9 days left! I have 16 refrigerated eggs in the bator' and 4 fresh eggs. I candled the eggs 2nite. I saw veining in all the eggs and even some movement in the embryo's! Not sure yet if they all will make it. Ill keep you all posted.

    Will eggs hatch after being in the fridge?

    I am currently try to hatch about 16 eggs that were refrigerated for about 1 to 2 weeks. They are all developing as far as I know so Im not sure yet of the hatch rate. Ive read that the hatch rate will suffer, but I dont know for sure! We'll see! Ill keep you updated in a few weeks.
