    I read that as "when is it ok to leave them in their coop instead of in the house"...was that not what was meant? I'd think that once they're fully feathered, you can move them outside instead of keeping them in a brooder. Could be wrong, or maybe that's not what you were asking Thank you...

    Out all night????

    Thank you all for your replies. I am really ready for a dust free and smell free home again. I sure have fallen in Love with these silly little girls. I think tonight will be there first night out I will for sure put out the heat lamp for them. I don't want anything to happen to them. Thanks again.

    We have just finished our coop!!!! YAY Now we need to know if it is OK and when it is OK to leave them out all night? They are between 5 and 6 weeks old. The temperature here at night is in the mid 40's. Any help???

    Chick with crooked beak

    I am sad to say that she has passed on. I would take her out from the others to feed her, but she just was not growing. I did everything to help her along but it just didn't work. Thank you for your replies.
