Her mate is a mallard, but she looks nothing like him or other female mallards. I heard she may be a swedish. What do you think? Not mine. She is wild and living in my garden on a nest at the moment. -

Aww, so cute! A river duck laid eggs by our front door. (yes, we live on the river) I have cockatiels and raised them from chicks. But these little ones will have a Momma and by looks of it a very attentive Papa too. Do I have to provide anything for them? Or will they be okay with Momma... -

I actually just went outside to see if the eggs were warm. There are fifteen eggs now. Could it possibly be, that she is NOT done laying eggs?! I have heard 12-15 tops. I covered them slightly. Hope she doesn't mind. IF she comes back. -
