Octagon coop I just finished
that post worked, so here's using a retread er to tap holes drilled in a bucket to thread water nipples in. It works great. Here's some chickens getting in the way here's the brown chicken that got paint on it. SHE was not on sale, but worth all 3 dollars. She is not as easily picked up...- stlmick83

I built a chicken coop for my mom this year. Its on top of an old cistern. My brother bought a bunch of pullets that were on sale for 99cents because they were too old and jumping out of their tub. Floating soda bottle/pallet dock
finished floating dock upside down before i flipped it into the water top view. will cover with a little dirt once its in the water so plants can grow. make sure there are some gaps for roots. the last dock wasn't used until i put some mud on it and plants grew. upside down and incomplete... -
Ducklings with droopy wings, is this normal?
Couldnt wartch video on slow connection. Make sure there are no antibiotics in the chicken feed. It can cause problems for ducks. Also check the protine content. Too much can cause angle wing if they grow too fast. -
Young/mature ducks vs day-old?
i've never done it any other way than ordering hatchery day olds and i think the shipping minimum is 15 usually. what is your predator situation? just lost one to a raccoon. do you have a dog to keep them away? will you be locking them up at night? do you have a waterpond, fountain, lake of... -
I'm a little blue duck, swimmin' in the water... But really, what in the world is this?!
Blue Swedish is my guess. they come in blue, black and white. like Labradors that way if i remember. had a duck i was pretty sure was a white swedish and he was a force to be reckoned with. used to order the mixed surplus duckling package. never knew what they were for sure.
