    It’s a Joel Salatin/Justin Rhodes thing, if I remember correctly. I’m just the sheep following that herd 🥴. But you have prompted me to look up the advantages/disadvantages compared to crushed oyster shell, so I’ll report back if I find anything useful!

    Headed to pick some up!! I know magnesium citrate has a far different intestinal effect on me than magnesium gluconate (😳💩), so here’s hoping Cal citrate helps her more than the carbonate form. And without D3 it won’t matter what she get anyway. Thank you!!

    How on earth does it get down to the abdomen?!? That is crazy…like an ectopic pregnancy? I have a lot of reading to do it looks like! Thank you. Wow. Poor girl!! I wonder if once this has happened once, even if she recovers, is it more likely to happen again?

    Your chicken probably isn’t egg bound..

    I am in the same boat! The egg doesn’t feel huge, but it isn’t moving toward her vent at all, still in the abdominal area. We’ve tried everything!
