    The chicks are not quite 5 months so I wasn't really expecting any eggs until mid-late august. And I'm sure my fellow Kansans could agree that with this heat (110 my therm says today and still going up) I'm lucky to have anything! It's so exciting and I hope they continue at this rate or better!

    Cricket the bantam chicky. Yes sounds like a lil cricket when it chirps. Also the lover in the bunch originally thought to be the bully. The 2 bantams with a pullet. Not sure what she is. And her wing feathers seem to want to flip out to an extent. They look different than the other chicks...
