There is a breed in Europe called the Brown Sussex. It really resembles the picture that you posted. Also the color of your hen looks like the “base” color that is on my own speckled sussex. Not sure if this helps...
So I am planning on incubating some barred rock eggs that have been fertilized by my Lavender Orpington. I believe that I will get sex link chicks. Has anyone attempted to incubate this cross? Any pointers? Pictures?
If I were to incubate the eggs from my ISA BROWN hens with my BLACK AUSTRALORP rooster would I get sex link chicks? I believe that ISA BROWNS are sex link in the first place. I have tried to research into sex links but didn’t find info on this particular case.
I would look up how to test if the egg is bad or not. I believe u drop them in a cup of water and depending on how/if they float will tell you if they are good or bad.

Yesterday night was day 21 🥳. I’m so happy! One hatch last night. They are all hybrids that we got from a friend. Hopefully more to come! None of the others have started pipping yet though 😢.

I use a galvanized type feeder as Raptor showed us above. As for water I use nipples. They are little red waters that u can put in pvc or on the bottom of a hanging bucket. They keep your water clean and would be very easy to heat. Here is a link...

Ya I’ve thought about that same problem with me. 😂 I am going to hatch a couple Of turkeys for there eggs. I have had there eggs and I truly enjoy there flavor. Once I get my little poults I will then buy more for thanksgiving.
