Make sure humidity(water) is around 80 degree at time of hatch or they wont be able to get out. Maybe the red could also be the film inside the eggshell. make...- stormyleewolf

Seems the humidity is not high enough to get them to hatch fully it needs a high 80 degree humidity so hurry and increase that and good luck. Remember ducks are not chickens they are a water bird. as far as red maybe it's getting sun burned by your bulb move away from the heat source.- stormyleewolf
