Ran awesome with 4 fans. Fan speed may also matter. I didn't even add and water from humidity system and it stayed at 43% during my hatches. I live in the city and have decided to sell this great incubator. Cant keep doing 160 chicks in town. Way overkill.
I dont keep an eye on or monitor air sac size. I just keep temp within a few tenths of 99.5 and have humidity between 30% and 48% and let humidity naturaly rise the last two days. Dont play into the you must measure egg cells and candle every seven days crap. To many on here think their micro...

On mine i didn't want warm air outside the cabinet. Wanted all warm air to just do continuos circle with placement of fans. One fan facing downwards at top front of door. One fan at rear bottom facing upwards so air shoots up behind double set of fans that are at the top and directly behind...
I got electronic thermostat
And heater coils at incubator warehouse and its simple and efficient. Keeps temp within .4 degrees. Have two elements in case one fails. Never have had issues. You may be over engineering and over thinking it.
If its splated leg i used medical tape that i tore so that it was only like 3/8 tall. And i guessed a what correct leg width should be and put the tape fairly low near the feet. Band aid seemed good for an hour and wouldnt stay stuck up against the leg, which is a must. It took a couple days but...
Is the surface he's on slick? Maybe a day or two will get his brain to re adjust. I had two with splayed legs and did the tape thing and in three days they corrected their thinking and walked perfectly.
