I moved to northern CA in 2001 and in 2006 I purchased my own home on 1/2 acre. I love animals and I got 6 chickens that total grew and shrunk thru the years. My favorite rooster is named GQ, he comes when I call him and he is a bantam he is my picture on here. I have 7 ducks, 8 cats, 2 xlarge dogs, and 1 bunny rabbit everybody gets along. this farming thing is really what I love. I am careful and backyard chickens has really helped me by answering my questions. this website is really wonderful.
