- Why do you want to join our community?
- Started raising chickens in my suburban backyard. I'm doing okay with a lot of research and help from a friend. I've also been sort of fostering chicks for that friend until they feather. Overall, I've taken in almost 30 chicks of which I've lost 9 but as tough as that has been, I've perservered and haven't lost any in several weeks, even after a major heat wave. I've learned from each mistake. I'm looking forward to sharing my experience to help others who are going through the same experience.
