    I also have a solid white olive egger he is a cross between a BCM X Americauna hen and a BCM rooster. Yet his brother looks just like a BCM with a pea comb. Something about a recessive white gene. I just thinks he is good looking! too bad he's gotta go, I have too many roosters.

    Im not all that experienced with my chickens yet but I had a rooster who had some kind of respritory problem and his comb turned purple from lack of 02 Oxygen. Dont know why yours went away after she laid an egg.
