I'm making a sand bath for my chickens for them to keep clean. I would like to put diotamatious earth in with it to help with fleas, mites, and lice. Is it ok for the chickens health? Thanks, Lance.

I have a frizzle that has lost all the feather material on it's right wing, the quills are still there but no feather "meat", now I call it skeletor because it looks like the bones of the feathers are all that's left. What could be causing this?
