My husband & I moved from a southeastern resort island to Oklahoma . We purchased about 40acres of land & a small farm house. We redid the little house & I feel I’ve created an ambience of peace & serenity . I’m hoping for a surprise when enter our home,an unexpected decorated interior .
Our land was overgrown . It had been neglected for decades. We’ve done ALOT of work , still have ALOT of work cleaning & removing trees & weeds .
We have seen some of the most beautiful sunsets here. Love looking out at our old red barn & how our pasture goes from shades of green to amber waves .
We chose a simple peaceful life & I love it ‘
Most of all I love my chickens . We have one Rooster Sonny . It’s fascinating to watch Sonny communicate & protect the chickens.
Still relatively new with chickens , it’s been 4 years now . I’ve learned so much from forums & sites like this one
