What a nice thread! I love the adorable quail pictures people are sharing. Here are my bobwhites! We have thirteen and for most of them it's their first time laying and they're going pretty broody.

I have thirteen bob's and I am willing to take her in. I am vegetarian and keep bob's as pets and I don't mind adding a hen to the family. I live in Illinois though so we are awhile away, I don't know if you want to come all the way over here.
That male looks just like my bobwhites when they lost their tails before. I think it's pretty silly-looking when they do that. :D

We have Bob's and you need a permit. I don't think you need a permit for any other quail in Illinois.
We live in a small town in a townhouse, so I have plenty neighbors and under half an acre. So, before we moved I asked the neighbors if they'd mind quail, as the county ordinance doesn't allow...
