    Here are some update of my chickens. This is the dad and mom One of the offspring that I've kept. Probably around 5 or 6 months now. This is an offspring of a ganoi that I gave away. Its the same age as the one above but a little heavier.

    Unfortunately guys the hen broke all of the eggs. I had more then 50 eggs and she broke all of them. I'm just going to build an incubator.

    I read somewhere that this stuff helps get rid of red mites? How safe is this stuff? I want to go to Lowes to buy some. My hen has some red mites in her nest.

    Yes I think the CD part works. I tried that before because my mom made a patio in the backyard. THe birds kept coming in to poop on the porch. She attach some CD to a string and the birds stopped coming in.

    I just moved him to another cage today so I decided to take some pictures and share with you guys. He's a little skittish and kept on moving. Most of his tail feathers fail off because I caught him grabbing the tail.

    Sadly 3 of my chicks got eaten by a hawk. It flew away when it saw me walking outside. I never seen any hawks flying around before. It left the head back. The rest of the body was gone.
