    Chickens have mange?

Well I got home after dark and couldn't take pics, although I found one chicken dead in the coop. I assume I may have some kind of major issue going on with them...

    Chickens have mange?

My chickens are looking really mangey, like an old desert coyote. They are missing lots of feathers around their vents, backs, necks and heads. One is almost featherless. Other than that they seem healthy and lively. They have a sand/ash/de dust bath, flock block to keep them busy, fresh sand in...

    suspicious looking Delaware and Brahma

Dang, looks like I possibly got 3 males this time out of five, I left out a pic of the Welsummer I got as he grew big red waddles and comb quickly and has a black chest. So much for the 95% accuracy in sexing the feed bin states it has...

I have a rooster born 4/20/14 who needs a new home, thought he was a female when we got him, turned out to be male. I only have a few hens and he is over mating them and tearing them up badly to the point of them missing full backs of feathers and bleeding. He is friendly with people and crows...

Update 5/6/14!! 6 weeks old... Cockerels or pullets? Plus a mystery breed!

So here is the only chick I think may be a male, it has red wattles and the comb is pink at the base, this guy is also alot heavier than the others. The others have very small almost flay wattles and tiny yellow combs. What do you guys think? He/she is about 7 weeks old.

Are these Dorking chickens and are they male or female???

Are these Dorking chickens? They were both hatched on 4/20/14 by a friend of my fiance and are supposed to be sexed as Dorking pullets. The first one is really large, twice the size of the other, and has five toes Here is the first, it is giant compared to the other. Here is the second little...
