    Should chicken water ever smell like sewage

    I put a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in the water-er. I have the same issue but the ACV allows it to stay cleaner longer. And it’s beneficial to the birds in other ways.

    We have a rodent issue as well. We are getting feral barn cats from the humane society and we purchased and installed a barn owl box to attract rodent eaters. They say one barn owl will control 10-12 acres! Good luck.

    The turkeys kept going to the neighbors to be with her chickens....so we got our turkeys their own flock of chickens.....

    And then the chickens asked nicely for some guard geese...Toulouse geese in particular. Well now we are hanging an owl box to control the neighborhood rodents.

    Narragansett and calico blend is what the previous owner mentioned. She called herself an accidental turkey farmer and didn’t know a ton! They are beautiful though-I agree! Thank you for the warm welcome and gobble on 😜
