    I built a shed years ago. No permit needed under 10x10. It is a nice looking shed.

    I told her that. I called today to see if I could enter the chickens into the county fair in August. Nope to late. I did check and make sure that we enrolled this year in 4-H, we did.

    I am also a certified teacher. My certs. include special education and I also have a cert. in science. I might try and make that work.

    Some of the families in the city are trying to claim homeschooling. I have one daughter she is 16. She is involved in 4-H. But not being home schooled.

    No they can't. I have fence weave up so it would be real hard for them to see through the fence and know the movement is chickens. I think

    City Code Enforcement has been driving really slow up and down the streets looking for tall grass, weeds and chicken coops.

    Code Enforcement saw the coop from the street. I lied and told her it was a shed. A friend checked and apparently they discovered it yesterday and are sending me a letter saying, I need a permit for chickens.

    Well the city found the coop, I guess I'll start jumping through those hoops. I had hoped that it would take them longer to find it. But, my little city is on a chicken hunt. Thanks for all the advice. If any one knows an attorney in Michigan that likes to fight cities on behalf of property...
