    They have a coop and run 6x12. And I’ve been letting them out to free range. But when my gardens are just starting to grow, I can’t let them free range as often.

    For those that use chicken tractors/mobile coops. Do you find your girls happy in it? I need a solution for the growing season when I can’t let my hens free range. Also, how do you provide a dust bathing spot if you are constantly moving it to fresh grass?

    Wow lots of room for them! Our property is only an acre unfortunately. Our hens favourite spot is also our compost pile.

    We are working on it now, but definitely want to put in different roosting bars, logs and stumps, hope to grow ( protected of course) some fruit bushes, sunflowers in there for them.
