    mine got watermelon and cantalope. They just love the melons. And they help keep the chickies hydrated when it is hot out. Every single chicken i own races to the spots i put out the melon slices. 2 days later the rind has been pecked to rice paper thin-ness. Oh how I just love these birds.

    I use a whole head of garlic in each 5 gallon pail of fermented feed and the eggs of my girls never taste like garlic. Even if they did I season my fried eggs with garlic so it would be no biggie.

    Mine are NOT stinkin. They also free range, unfenced, from caint see to caint see. Besides, I strongly feel the meat I get off them is worth a bit of stank.
