I have a beautiful Lakenvelder cockerel that I need to rehome. Unfortunately, this is my son’s favorite chick but we aren’t allowed to have roosters. He’s praying for a home that will update him periodically on his little guy.
We are in the north East Florida area.

I really have no idea why he's my son's favorite. He's through and through a Lakenvelder and not overly friendly. He doesn't care to be picked up or played with. But when we got him as a day old chick my son fell in love and claimed him.
Yea, that sounds terrible. I'd rather him live a rooster life somewhere if I can find a taker in Florida.
The HOA is pretty adamant about roosters but here's hoping!
New pictures! Went out this morning and saw that there was a hint of wattles. I don’t see it on the other ones. Does this make it more likely a cockerel?
This is super helpful. The comb on mine is at least double that of yours. And yours is two weeks older here. I need to figure out how I’m going to pull a switcharoo.
I replied earlier, but I moved to a small neighborhood of 10 houses. I have four acres, but there is still an HOA. It’s pretty rural, especially coming from the suburbs.
