    I've ordered from Eagle Nest for a number of years. very pleased. healthy birds. small...very small...operation. so it may be difficult to get a person on the phone. but if you do your questions and concerns will be addressed pleasantly and well.

    my fave hatchery is Eagle Nest in Oecola, Ohio. IF they have the breeds you want. I'm close enough to get them next morning after they've been shipped. good prices. healthy chicks.

    3 of the undamaged eggs plus 1 of the damaged eggs have hatched today. woohoo!!

    thanks so much. you covered the part that had me worried. they are now nestled in some damp paper towels that we will keep that way. I wasn't the one who did the deed. but I could have been. I hope the rest of the eggs are ok.

    on day 19/20....yesterday and they are due to hatch today... accident. knocked over incubator. some of the egg shells chipped. the membranes are intact. not open at all. there is no bad odor. so I would think that they were/are good eggs. did not candle. don't know how to candle brown eggs...
