    Thank you!! I just wonder why in the world she started picking on the other one after 2 years. The wounded gal seems to be better, but I will still keep them apart until the weekend, and pray it doesn't happen again.

    I dont believe so. I just have no idea what happened. I will just keep them apart for a while. Thankfully I have an extra coop and can do that.

    No illness. No brooding going on. I just dont know what has happened. There is only three of them. they all seem fine this morning, but i am still keeping the evil one away from the other two.

    thank you. I was going to keep her seperted for a week, but I will do 2 weeks. I have babies, but they wont go out for a while still. I am concerned that she will attack them also. If she doesn't stop I will have to get rid of her.

    Hello, I have had chickens for years... and at a this time I only have 3 adults, same age...raised together, about 2 years old. Today one of my gals is attacking one of the others. No sickness that I know of, she is laying and seems fine...coop is large enough, plenty of food and water, lots...
