    No eggs or occasional wrinkled eggs over past month from this hen.We have been keeping her apart from her home flock waiting for her feathers to return on her back.She roosts with two other hens of different breeds. She has a nice free range life and no predators to bother her. Any answers...

    I have a first year worm farm and they are doing well. Will they survive from the four free range chooks and Maritime winter if I transfer them to the compost heap this fall.

    Thanks. Yes, she is a tad stressed and hen pecked by the "alpha hen".We had them separated for a few weeks and she went through a spell of not laying... go figure!
