About a year. I thing the smallest eggs she lays are 71gm and the largest was 92gm.- tangles

Hens Crowing Like Roosters - Need help!!
I have a very large hen who stopped laying about 2 months ago (as did the rest of the girls). She now has a large, red comb, crows and has a beautiful tail. I've also noticed she is developing spurs. She looks like a very handsome rooster and has moved up the pecking order from bottom to 2nd...- tangles

Can hens ever turn into roosters?
Hi, I really don't know the answer to the above question. I have 6 hens. From some fertilised eggs we finished up with a rooster and 1 hen plus the 5 hens we already had.The hen turned out to be a super chicken She is twice the size of the others and so were her eggs. We got rid of the rooster...- tangles
