    I have used sand in the past to mask the smell. Constant cleaning is honestly the best way i have found!

    does anybody know of a hatchery that you can order from that has a lower minimum other than 15-25. There are a lot that I am seeing in that range. I am looking to get 2-3 but I also understand financially/safety for the chicks why a hatchery would not want to do that thanks!

    Thank you for the tips! I'm thinking hardware cloth is the way to go along the entire perimeter including the bottom.
