    Ok, great! In that case it was possibly just a little "hiccup" in her egg production. I'd just keep an eye on her (and her eggs) to be sure it doesn't become a trend. If it keeps happening, or she stops eating/becomes lethargic, she should go straight to a vet. She is probably ok, though...

    They are on layer pellets, the have separate container with oyster shells already.. my girl is back to normal. Maybe just a bad day?

    And no I don't use any supplemental lighting.. they are in day light all day...

    Today my chickens all laid one egg.. (I have 4 chickens). This evening I noticed my RIR was acting funny.. kinda of slow moving... So I kept going out and checking on her.. she just laid two more eggs... One had a soft shell and the other really had no shell.. will she be ok and why did this...
