I began with chickens in 2014 and am now on a path to make chickens part of my retirement income. The plan is to sell larger eggs, fertilized eggs, chicks, some meat birds, and explore other options to increase the income the birds produce.
I am an electrician with 40 years experience and I have embraced smart technology both in my home and in my chicken coops. The technology has improved dramatically in 2019-2020 and I’ve installed some features that aid me in raising and caring for my chickens.
