    I used a couple of saddles and they worked well , they can certainly give the hens back time to recover when they get scratched up

    You can always microwave them for 30 seconds and then bash them up , very good for helping with shell and and top up for grit

    I believe the average hen lives between 6 to 8 years , also eggs are high till they reach 3 to 4 then they decline ..
