I'm thinking of trying this. My question is, I know some worms will arrive dead. Should I go through them all when they arrive and cull the dead ones? Or will they just be "absorbed" by the live ones?

Hens can make a lot of noise sometimes- they will often crow an "alarm" call when they spot a cat, hawk, or something they perceive as a threat. They will frequently crow after laying an egg- it's like the hen version of "I Am Woman".

Just wanted to introduce myself- my name is Tasha and we live in Sheboygan with our 2 hens (and a Noah's Ark of other animals). We are keeping them in our fenced yard and purchased an Eglu Go which has worked well. Would love to hear from anyone else in Sheboygan or the area.
