    Yeah I'll be changing the rooster out pretty quick most likely but only chick I've had like this so far but the egg I remember it hatched from was also an olive egger so I'll just be keeping her for her egg now probably thanks for the info

    It's very soft almost like extra skin. It bothers her when I touch it but just that it sticks it s tongue out kind of. She eats normal and drinks normal and is the same size as the other chicks she's hatched with.

    Hi, I have an olive egger cross around 4 weeks old that has a parrot shaped beak. It's just started to develop this extra skin that's more of a lump than a wattle.     Barred rock mix. Pullet or roo?

    I have a 9 week barred rock mix. Not sure of his gender as it's the larger of the ones we hatched but doesn't seem to have wattles like the other obvious roos. Any thoughts? Thanks

    Leaning toward roo because of its size and some more curved tail feathers but shows no wattle really. They're around 9 weeks old.
