    Drunkenpony I keep 4 covered jars of water in the bottom on the side with the light bulb. It is a cooler with a light bulb on the short end. It is against a wall with no furnace vents or windows near it, I'm not sure if this helps. Good luck and thank you for the welcome.

    I have 20 chickens, 2older RIR, 9 mixed breed, 9 buff orpingtons. We have had chickens for a few years, and are just starting with runner ducks.
