    Thanks y'all for all the input! So, I did close them in yesterday when it started getting very windy and spitting icy snow, I let them out this afternoon while the sun was out and the wind was down and tonight when the snow kicked up again, they ALL ran back into the coop and havent came out...

    My ducks and chickens have ample area to get inside the coop and ouf of the weather... but most of them insist on still sleeping outside! Should I lock them in or will they eventually go in if they get cold enough? Last winter I locked the chickens in but not the ducks. I don't want snowbirds! ⛄

    Thank you! My girls loved it!! I mixed it with their cracked corn and grain...ate it all up! I also give mine yogurt and cheese and they do really well on it!

    Thank you for the prompt response. I didn't realize that hens could have the large wattle and combs as well.....no crowing, kinda thought 1 was trying ...kinda making a coughing noise but she stopped.
