    Breeding Stock

I need some hatcheries who have really good breeding stock. I need to introduce some better genetics into my breeding program and haven't really found much yet. My flock is comprised mostly of dual purpose breeds, nothing to fancy. I live in Mississippi.

    cover crops for chickens

we live deep in the woods with a couple of acres yard cut out of the trees with our home in it. woods on 3 sides with a steep hillside down to a pond on the other. soil is a sandy loam, full sun, waters not a problem, no wet or dry spots. whole yards on a pretty good slope. I do want to keep it...

    cover crops for chickens

IM thinking about planting something better than grass in my yard for the chickens. Ive got the hillside planted in buckwheat and they love that but I'm leaning more towards some crimson clover for the yard. any suggestions?

    Free Ranging Guineas

they will be fine if you start out with enough of them...cuz you will lose some. they thrive on one of the deadliest continents in the world they will be fine around your house. keep them put up for about 8 weeks first then let them loose. however you can kiss them goodbye if you live near a road.
