She was 11 months, I actually did cut open some of the intestines, thought maybe I would see worms or something but I didn't. I should have cut the gizard open, but I was by myself and using a box cutter. I am going to get a better knife if I ever have to do it again. It was kind of interesting...
Thank you for the responses, they get a steady diet of 16% layer pellets. About twice a week we give them about 4 handfuls of meal worms, and everyday a few handfuls of scratch. One of the girls, and I think it was this one was eating eggs quite a bit, since she has been isolated it has nearly...

If she makes it it looks like she will be my new pet! I will build a coop for her and others like her. I'm pretty sure that she is the egg pecker, will chickens attack a chicken that pecks eggs?
THAT is a great statement! Yes she is one of my constant broody girls, she never moves when I get the eggs, just looks at me. I'm hoping that the problem with her foot, the way she is balling it up and the inability to walk is from being malnourished, this gives me hope!!

It is from Tractor supply and supposed to help with sanitizing water, worm infestations and targeting harmful pathogens. I'm hoping its not Mareks, we just put the 12 week olds into the visitors pen to...
Thank you for the reply Eggcessive,
I have her isolated away from the flock, I am going to make a sling for her directly. She tries to take water from a dropper but waits till I drop it on her beak before trying to get it. She is a little more perky since I've removed her from the sun, but still...
