    Update A guy who raises chickens came out, well he was grabbing the roosters. 4 Of them where cockerels and two where pullets. He was very honest and open about it. We are going to get some more pullets from him next week. The girls seem to be happier now and not as jumpy as they once where...

    So, Bumblebee is a rooster. He crowed for the first time this morning three times. He is not a quiet rooster and my kids found it hilarious. My son said bumble bee sounded like he was a dying chicken, but i told him its because he is just practicing to get better.

    I don't know their ages, the lady said they where born the end of april. They look older than that. The only two that fight each other with hackles up are moo and ice cream. I go back and forth on bumble because it won't fight any of the other chickens, it will peck a bit to get the others out...
