    My hen was fine around 6pm and around 11pm when we went to check them before bed she had something hanging from her butt. It doesn’t look like it’s hanging out of her vent but I’m not sure. In the morning we are going to mess with it. She seems to be acting normal for night time.

    So we have them in a tote container and shavings and then that’s inside a wire kennel bc of our doggies lol but I never thought of a heating pad! I think we will try the 60w light bulb...what is a wooly hen? This is my first time to hatch chicks
