    Can rats kill guineas?

    We always used 2 long sticks to herd them in at night after calling chick, chick, chick and giving them treats. We used the sticks to get them off the nests and, yes, leave a couple which are marked and take new ones. They won't really sit on them til they get a bunch laid.

    Guineas are not especially "motherly" and keets will survive under heat lamp and with safe area without the mother. Guinea Hen forum is a great place to learn more about guineas and raising the keets.

    Introduction worth it?

    Introduce the guinea back at night after they are all asleep and they won't notice that a new guinea is there.
