    Opinions wanted!! Broody hen integrated or separated?

    Just a word of caution....watch her closely when they start to hatch. We did the same thing with a first time broody...bought hatching eggs. She did great until they started hatching and then she killed them! We were able to save 2 and get them in a brooder before she killed them too. Not sure...

    Chick can’t get off back

    It did! I actually put it in a glass every hour off and on for about a day and it finally got strong (and straight) enough to stand upright on its own! I need to get a new picture of the beautiful little thing!

    Thanks for all the info! The roo has feathered legs but the hen doesn't. The man that gave them to us just said they're "banty" chickens.

    Just joined NYC and came straight here.:) I was given this pair of little cuties and have no idea what breed they are. Total mix I think but my little roo definitely has at least some d'uccle. The little pullet doesn't have feathered legs so I'm not sure about her...any ideas? If I can just...
