    Pine needles/pine straw for coop?

    I have just stared using the pine needles in my coop because on another thread on here (BYC) I was told mites lice and other pest that get on or bother chickens do not like the needles. Everyone (hens) seems to like them just fine

    So I have sprayed with the elector PAP and am now doing the dipping in vegetable oil every other night (going on week two). Is that what I do for leg Mites? Or do I do the Vaseline also or after the oil treatment? Thank you so much for your help

    Seramas laid first two eggs help please!

    I have frizzles too and the comb on mine stay tiny. One way I tell who layed an egg is one starts squalking really loud and she will be at coop door or outside coop. They do that telling everyone else she just layed an egg. So the squalker is the egg layer
