I posted on here the other day about my chickens being attacked by a fox.
Four of my girls were killed, one lost a few tail feathers, one avoided any injury by hiding in the coop, and one suffered a leg injury.
I followed the advice I was given and have been treating the wound.
I just want...
Early this morning my chickens were attacked and four of them were killed. One of my survivors has a puncture wound on her leg.
Is there anything I can put on it to help it heal and what signs should I look for if it starts to get infected?
I sprayed the wounds with Blue Kote.
She has not had any respiratory symptoms that I have noticed. When we got her as a chick she did have splayed that we were able to fix.
When we looked at her again I didn’t see any scabby or puncture wound in that area.
I have a 22 week old Cream Legbar with a swollen spot on her upper leg. I’m not sure what is causing it, but was wondering if anyone else has seen something like this before?
She can stand on it a little bit, but mostly stands on one foot or sits down.
