    She is a game hen and originally had like 15 eggs from other hens laying in the same nest and I also put some serama eggs under her but she has less now and tommorow should be her hatch date:fl:jumpy

    21 days should be tomorrow :fl and she had like 15 Eggs from other hens laying in the same nest but now has less. some went bad. And as for candling. The eggs are too dirty to see anything clearly her poop and yolk from the bad eggs makes it hard

    My hen is sitting on some eggs she is due soon I live in central Texas and it's been hot 90-100 degrees and it looks like not all eggs will hatch what do u guys think

    Don't worry they aren't pecking at him that's not a problem I've got 2 broody with chicks that are more worried about their baby's than pecking at him and they sort of fear him since he is new 2 the coop

    He is Blue with asil and I keep him with my other hens layers and 2 game a pumpkin and a hatch/claret and I dubbed him because I wannt him to be a show bird later on

    Yeah I got in to chicken with bantams including OEGBs because of their size as I was renting in a "normal" house but always liked Games when I moved into a house of the outskirts of town into a more "country" home I was able to keep more chickens including roosters

    Yeah I live in central Texas so yeah it is pretty hot also it was my first time dubbing a regular size game fowl I've dubbed OEGBs before much smaller and easier to handle he was definitely stressed and pecked the bleep out of my hand which probably caused me to cut off too much.     She layes white eggs I was told she is hatch claret mix I guess that's like her bloodline or something. To me she's just a regular hen I don't support a cruel sport

    for those of you wondering if any of my other hens layed the olive egg I have 8 hens a red star hen 2 barbu d'uccle bantam hens an american game hen a broiler hen a cochin bantam hen a small serama hen and of course a grey EE hen and 2 small bantam roosters and they all live in a run coop

    Well this is today's egg, it's regular mint green color I dont think the picture shows the color well. I guess that olive egg could have Been a one time thing
