    Eye filled with white puss

    I have had two chickens (5 mo. old) come down with something that has infected their eyes. The first on I noticed after it had crusted over. And the second went from a white puss film to a scary crusty closed eye. What would cause this? What steps to I need to take? Thank you.

    I have a small update. The first chicken with the crusted eye seems to be opening this afternoon. Maybe the other will recover on her own as well?

    My chickens are 5 months old. Last week I noticed that one had a closed eye and thought maybe it was scratched somehow. I now have another chicken that has a lot of white mucus stuff covering the right eye and the left eye has mucus starting to form. What could it be? What action should I take...
