Did such a thread get created? I am bringing bantam silver phoenix and bantam black araucana to sell, and have listed them in the appropriate place on this board, but if there is a thread for this, I don't want to miss it.
No other thread that I know of, here is as good a place as any...
What I have generally seen for sale at the Stockton show has been adult birds, occasionally pullets or cockerals, most dont bring chicks unless its a prior arrangement (that's the car to car sale I spoke of previously. I know if you dont make a private arrangement ahead of time for someone to...
Hmmm,
A Stockton Wishlist....
Thats actually how I first found BYC, looking for a white sillkie rooster before the show one year....one thing led to another, and I found the BYC website! One time I drove all the way to Tracy to meet Eggchel to pick up some birds...one got loose in the...
Those are beautiful birds! They look sort of like a red colored Lakenvelder? But if the eggs in the incubator are theirs, they look kind of brownish. I wish I could see them closer. Always chasing the golden egg? Let's keep looking!

One of my favorite yard chickens is from an egg sent to me by a BYC friend - Charlie is a Salmon Favorelle mix - and has a wonderful disposition! He loves to be held, and I have to shoo him off and the...

Yes, I would love to see the "next generation" FROM the olive eggs...your eggs are such a beautiful deep Olive color....I wondered what color eggs the resulting chicks that hatch out of the olive eggs would lay? I wonder how dark green can get? And what you breed together to...

Oh, and about diapers, yes, Tubby, my Old English Rooster wears a diaper, and Muriel, one of the Moderns, wears one when she wants to run around sometimes. Mostly they like to stay in the cage. I am making more diapers, but Tubby got too naughty to just let them run loose, even with a diaper...
What colors do you have? They are all so pretty! I used to think moderns were just freaky looking - my husband HAD to have them though - we call them "minions" now! They really grow on you, and they chatter so much! They let you know what they think! Now they seem almost graceful and...
I've only gotten a few eggs in the past, have a nice little rooster from one...but I dont see any anymore...I think they are lacking something or they would lay once in a while? (Probably privacy!) Anita laid her egg in a basket, and I took a picture while she did...she's been on strike since...
Dont get me started! Kiwi here IS standing on the couch! This is when she first came home...Our moderns live in the house, and get to play outside sometimes.
