    Working so far thank you for this information. We did it step by step and he is doing well. In fact he has allowed us to keep it lose after the first bit of soothing we have done. Our small finger slides through easily and he doesn’t crow at all but still acts like a good rooster.

    I use hemp for the main area but as chicks I put the grass pads in the boxes and my little cameras show they sleep on the fake grass at night as their preference in the boxes now at roughly 12 weeks old so maybe raising them on the fake grass works when started as chicks.     Brown leghorn rooster needs rehoming from tulsa oklahoma

    Have two 10 week old roosters out of the six hens I bought and need new home since ordinances and all. The one is super protective already of the flock and the other is a little passive to the strong one but both are the last in the coop at night and watch the door until it closes.
