    when do you stop with the brooder light.

    i moved all my quails to outdoor cages at 3 weeks. i did it during san diego winter.( temp hovering around 55-60 degree f) all 50 quails doing fine. at 5 weeks old they should be full feathers so the temperture not going to effect them too much unless it's under 40 degree F.

    i put my quails in hot water ( not boiling hot) for few minutes and pluck their feathers. take only about 30 seconds per bird.

    Getting into quail Here's my plan suggests welcome

    i see you have some planning, but don't forget about planning to clean their poop, 120 quails will produce enough poop to fill up your sleeves in 3 days, they're pooping machine !!! i sugest you buy a big 50 gallons trash bin to store their poop.
