    Got the shed up last weekend and poop shelf/roost bars in today. Even with mealworms- half the girls won’t go in. I am going to put sand down next and have two windows to install and vents. Any ideas on bribing them in?

    Four nesting areas, but they have to fight over the same one and someone inevitably ends up with egg on their a$$. Literally 🤣

    Currently building out my shed conversion and I opted for bins that could be easily hosed out if needed. I throw in the fiber pads and so far the girls are all about it! Just under $9 a bin!

    These are under $9 each at Walmart right now and are a great size. Plus side: blast with a hose to clean them...

    7 weeks old. Not sure what to think. The hatch mate was a boy straight up at about three weeks… this one just started to get more pink at 7 weeks. Thoughts?

    Yeah, the black and brown one are definitely Roos. The black one already sang me the song of his people 🤦🏻‍♀️ the grey ones are the ones I was wondering about still.

    Wyandotte confusion

    I recently got 6 chicks. Ameraucana, Marans and a Wyandotte. Already had to rehome my beautiful splash marans as he showed male instantly. Wondering what the census is on my Wyandotte. 5 weeks. Looks like a black laced versus blue laced? Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
