I know there are a few other threads about metal sheds, but I think I've seen more so for chickens, so I wanted to post to check. Could one be okay for ducks (and maybe some chickens since they were raised by ducks)? I'm worried about the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter. I think...
Are you sure? More of what looked like intestines came out, it's all from the vent. I don't really have a teacup, just coffee mugs. Does it need to be wide and low sized? Edit: What about a bowl?
Really? A couple days?? I was trying to find how long they survive like this, I didn't expect it to be up to that long. I've never had to cull an animal before, that's been my fiancé's job. But he had to go out of town this weekend, so very bad timing.
Sorry, I'm posting here and hatching threads because I'm worried this is critical.
I haven't gotten too touchy on it because I'm scared to hurt it. What is it?? What can I do to help?? It's crying a lot!
Actually, follow-up question. It was able to come out of the shell but with a lot of liquid. Like maybe unabsorbed yolk sac? It leaked down into the water part of the incubator. The others didn't have this happen. Is there anything I need to do?
This chick pecked more on one end of the egg rather than in the mide, and I can see its mouth sticking out. Does it need help? It looks like it's really breathing hard. The other ones that hatched were more from the middle.
We just recently put fish into our new big pond. And the geese have recently been less inclined to swim in it. I just realized they may be afraid of them and came online to see if there's anything I can do. Is there a way to get them less afraid?
